Hi Friends and Visitors. Welcome to our blog. We hope you will enjoy viewing the pictures and reading some bits and pieces about our lives here. Feel free to leave a comment or even share your blog as well.
In case you are wondering, what's with the name? Gluehwurm is the german word for fireflies or alitaptap for tagalog and Toni is fond of this tiny creature.
I know these houses and this region, that's what I know the best of Germany the rhine from Köln to Mains before moving to Belgium I lived in Bonn and my parents afterwards near Koblenz !
Beautiful! I would love to visit Germany some day. My dad spent some time there and just loved the country. Thanks for sharing! And, thanks for stopping by my blog.
Wow, this Wordless Wednesday thing seems to be an institution, but I never knew about it until I visited your blog! I miss the German landscape already!
Very nice houses! I am going to Trier in a few months, I heard it's also very beautiful there! Germany is so near to Belgium, and yet so unknown to me... always nice to make new discoveries. Thank you for the nice comments on my blog! By the way, you have a beautiful cat!

My sunset picture was taken right from my back yard. Thanks for stopping by.
Looks like beautiful hill country, as well. I've never been overseas, but Germany's on my list.
Thanks for this glimpse.
This is what I love about stopping by other people's blogs: I get to see things from other parts of the world, I get to learn some more.
Thanks for sharing.
Happy WW!
I love alitaptap, too. I used to try catching alitaptap at night when I was young. Alitaptap reminds me of those good old days in the province.

Great shots. Kind of reminds me of the postcards I used to see at the sea side as a kid with four views of wherever we were on them.
Wow those are beautiful. Happy WW.
