Name two things that made you smile this week.
1. The sun shone the whole week ( though forcast said it would rain this weekend) and that's just enough to make me smile the whole week!
2.My 15 year old cat despite having no teeth, trimmed claws and eye and heart problems brought me a gift (a live, chirping bird). I thought he is past this stage because of his condition but heck this cat guy is still alive,kicking and hunting! I was able to free the bird (still alive and chirping!) later though behind my cat's back.

... you know you've turned off that stove, closed that door and window, closed the tap but there's still that unstoppable nagging feeling that maybe you haven't?? So you go back home and check again. Of course it was all turned off and doors, windows all secured! But heck the nagging feeling is gone.

When you can't go to sleep, what is your personal remedy to help yourself drift into Lullabyland?
I wish I know the answer to this problem but I have tried it all .. Counting sheeps, drinking special tea, taking a hot soak.. etc. etc.. but nothing has helped me yet. Hope to check other Feasts and maybe you can help me out on this!

Why do most women I know (including me of course) love shoes and bags, find them so irrisistable have lots (or tons!)of them but still go on buying new ones,despite having some in the closet that are still waiting to be used? Women, what's with the bags and shoes??

Spaghetti Aglio e Olio
I love my pasta plain and simple, lots of garlic and good olive oil on my spaghetti with a dash of chili flakes! Hmmm..

I enjoyed your appetizer it reminded me of a story when a bird got loose in my moms house and they grabbed the cat with claws to lock him in the bathroom. While they were doing that the one with no claws got the bird. It was rescued as yours was and returned outside.

Hey Toni, I still make the pasta dish you call Spaghetti Ala Toni. You know, the one with tuna, cabbage, olive oil and lots of basil !! Yummmm.....
I am boggled by the whole shoe and bag thing too!
For sleeping problems I know something, ask Vlado to take a wooden hammer, that helps.
Love for shoes is a psychological problem of feeling inferior, that's why the woman goes to a shoeshop because the sales person has to kneel down and put her the shoes on ! This is not from me, I read it in a book of women's psychological troubles. I don't bother about shoes or handbags you can live besides me with slippers for 20 years and I wouldn't even notice, lol ! What does that mean now ? Am I superior ???
Yes, I'm a shoe person! I have so many pairs that I think if I wear one pair two days in a row that the others will get jealous! Great Feast! Thanks for sharing!

t rained so hard here yesterday, the power went out and came back 3 hours later. But our cable and net connection came back only this morning, hence the late replies to comments! :D
LOL, how true! I do that with my candles all the time. I'll blow them out before leaves teh house, get half way down the road, and start second guessing myself.
PS- re:bad drivers- oh you won't compare even by an iota to the bus/jeep/tricycle drivers here. If I suddenly die of a heart attack, blame them. hahaha!
