A Taste of Italy part 2

Of course going to Italy wouldn't be complete without drinking those famous espressos, cappuccinos or sampling their super delicious ice creams. Wherever we went, we can't just help ourselves to resist those heavenly ice cream. In most places they really don't scoop them, they just just shove it from a sort of spatula and voila, there you go! Yummy! It might look rather small but it took a while for me to finish this cup of ice cream. The lady at the counter really did her best to fill this tiny cup with 3 goody flavors.
All in all, our journey to Tuscany was actually a trip for the senses, to see much beauty and culture , to taste and smell such great food, to feel the friendliness of the italian people, to hear the wonderful nature- the cuckoos, the wind and that church bell that rings 6 minutes ahead of time. Well that was it, indeed. So for those of you who haven't been this part of the globe , stop thinking about it and just do it!

You see that falling in love with an Italian 39 years ago was right ! And I notice with pleasure that you show that Italians don't eat Spaghettis only ! When I came back from a visit to the Italian family I felt like a fattened cow ! Everybody put their specialities on the table and then the oh so good wine !

Thanks for your comments, I just have to tell you that poor me is not racist at all except for bavarians ! I can't stand them with their leather shorts and stupid feather on a even more stupid hat. Not to forget the beer and a stupid grin from one ear to the other !And it's a shame that such an outfitted guy represents whole Germany abroad ! And then this "language" !!!I don't understand a single word and when they make a TV movie it has to have subtitles !
You know the word "Eichhörnchen" probably (squirl) and OACHKOTZ ? that's bavarian ! (the only thing I remember)

Hahaha.. i know what you mean, yup you are so right about the translation in the television.. that was really a surprise for me. But that's what my german friends told me too.. i guess Germany has to market itself better than this.

Great photos! And yummy food! I love those Italian ice cream-they're available na rin here, in those huge tubs and yes spatula-ed not scooped.
Tuscany seems like a wonderful place. Sige, will add it to my must-see-before-i-die list! I've got to live really long because it's a long list... and have not really started on it yet!

really? that's good you can taste italian ice cream there too. though i love our own selecta and magnolia brands too - they really have good quality comparing with the german ice cream for example-- i love selecta's cheese ice cream flavor, yummy. i always get that whenever we're home.
continue that must see places.. you'll never know it might really happen (used to have them and saw a lot of it already, see who would have known, di ba?)
