Holiday Feeling

Don't you just experience being tourist yourselves when you have a guest and start showing places of interests around your area? I think it's contagious, this feeling of excitement and admiration of the beautiful scenery and architecture you have actually started to take for granted because it's always there. A tourist will snap numerous photos or gaze in awe at his surroundings and ask a million questions about things you haven't actually thought of because it's just there and normal. A tourist almost always has a smile and friendliness in him and to the people around him because he is intoxicated by this wonderful experience because he is where he is, right here, right now. How wonderful it would be if we could go into our day to day mundane lives seeing and experiencing it like a tourist.
